In 1985, Ford introduced Merkur, a new brand aimed at importing European cars into North America. Unfortunately, it didn't perform very well and was withdrawn after only 4 years. This is one of the two cars sold under the brand. Essentially the same as the Sierra XR4i with a few changes, mainly the 2.3 litre turbocharged Lima engine first found in the Pinto as well as several other new parts adding a bit of weight.
Pretty simple to use but it may feel understeery in some areas, a rare case where full steering lock will be needed to make some turns.
The original model was scratch made for Cities: Skylines by Archie C-ntingham. Engine sound from Need for Speed: High Stakes.
Picture taken on Spa-Volt 2.
