RVGL 20.0210a (or newer) required!
1 PM. The last day of school is over. What about using the local high school for some cool RC car races? Driving through the classrooms, the gym and the outdoor sports field, as well as the surrounding neighborhood. Is there anything better to celebrate the beginning of the summer holidays? :)
This track is meant to be an ultimate tribute to the game we all love. Highly influenced by custom stock-like gems like PetroVolt or Jailhouse Rock, the track is also using well-known parts from Toys in the Hood and Supermarket.
Major features of School's Out!:
The track won't be the same without the help from this Re-Volters:
Happy 20th Anniversary, Re-Volt!
Version 1.4 and Version 1.41 Update
Version 1.41b Update
Maybe this is one of the Best tracks ever created, because it has a nice map detail, and very long track. I give this 10 out of 10.
I just created a profile here and I already knew where my first comment had to go! THIS TRACK IS A MASTERPIECE! Everything about this track is perfect. The visuals are stunning, it’s so real. I don’t know which part of the track I like more. And the most important thing for me is that the AI is really competitive because I don’t play multiplayer. On behalf of the entire Re Volt community, THANK YOU KIWI for making this track and thank you to all your team who contributed to make this track a masterpiece.
My rating is also 100/10, as Rodik said.
Of all tracks of all racing games in existence, this track is the most beautiful piece of art that has been made.
Despite being huge, it’s not even lagging. All I can critisize is that the bean cans in the supermarket aren’t pushable.
Wow this track is outstanding! What a hommage to the original tracks, this is so awesome!
All the easter eggs were also very well done. I took my time in time trail to take a look at everything.
10/10 these are the kind of levels that should be made into a new Revolt game!
The radio is fine for me. You can just turn down sound effects in the settings if you wish to hear the music well.
The radio in this track is simply the best :D
School’s Out! was released in 2020 by Kiwi, featuring help from several other creators. It combines parts from the Toys in the Hood 1 and Supermarket 2 tracks from the original game with new sections based on a sewer, a skating park and a school.
After Spa-Volt 1 and Spa-Volt 2, anticipation for School’s Out! was high. And expectations were met! The track is very beautiful, and very fun. It is not too tricky, but challenging enough, and the AI is great. The track is very long, but remains interesting throughout. School’s Out! is very easy to learn; new players might have a little trouble with the skate park, but even that’s not too tricky to figure out, and when you know where to go it is certainly very satisfying.
There have been other tracks incorporating stock material, but never before or after has any track mixed the old and new so perfectly. Nothing feels out of place. This is impressive, because the stock tracks are actually less detailed than Kiwi’s tracks, so extra details were added to these parts. The track has lots of little fun challenges to get a pick-up; most of them unfortunately aren’t useful for a competitive race, but they add character regardless. The school parts are well thought out and really fit Re-Volt. Compared to the Spa-Volt tracks, School’s Out! has more straight-forward racing and less super tricky parts. Which is cool! We need both types of tracks.
Since the release of Kiwi’s classic School’s Out!, some updates have been done. None of them greatly alter the experience that the track gives, but the updates give some small improvements. The most noticeable changes to me are that the music track has been changed from one of the tracks from the original game to a great original track by ZetaSphere, and that the name of the track has been changed from School’s Out! to School’s Out! 2. This because an edit of the track called School’s Out! 1 was made. I’m not sure why this one was called 2 and the other one 1 and not the other way around, but oh well.
The most recent update to School’s Out! 2 was done just a few months ago, and I hope that it will be updated again in the future: the stars (or at least one of them, as can be seen in the video) are too high to obtain with Dust Mite in Simulation mode.

It may be annoying to you @ahma but its not annoying to another people
@Ahma You can remove the sound yourself if you want.
I won‘t remove the radio, as it‘s part of the tracks ambience SFX and in my opinion it add a lot to the atmosphere. Also the radius where you can hear the radio is very limited. While driving normal laps you can hear it just for a few seconds.
Yes, I like the track but remove the annoying radio so I can listen to music, please!
Updated to Version 1.4: Fixed a repo-bug at the Hood 1 area, and slightly adjusted the AI-nodes at the start area.
Oh yeah… The very track because of which I wanted to get RVGL for. A very good track model, which is a bit complicated for weak computers. I really like the racing line. I feel like I’m in this city, in this school. Yes, there are some confusing moments (in terms of the race line), but if you drive several times on the track, you can get used to it. Thank you for this wonderful track for Re-Volt. (And yes, this masking image of the street behind one of the doors of the school looks good xD). My score is 100/10.

If you’re looking for an ultimate quasi-vanilla Re-Volt track, you can stop. This is it right here.
