After almost five years, since i've shown the first sketches (april 2012) and tries with 3d modeling on RV-Live, it is done. You guys were really excited and have waited so long, especially mightycucumber, and r6te. Now, the legendary NAVAL BARON is released finally.
Sure, also you guys have helped me to answer my questions when i needed it, especially about improvements with the parameters. (for that a great thanks to Skarma).
The NAVAL BARON is a car for the advanced class with RWD. A good topspeed, acceleration and light enough that it can swim on the pool on Toytanic ,)
Hehe, yes there is a little mistake from me on the parameters. But hey, it was my very first car. ;)
But even after all my time in the community (10 years now) the Naval Baron has still a big and special place in my heart, because that car was my start in the creating of custom content. And for that i still think about to make an updated version, also to fix that one thing on the parameters.
So first impressions are great, a boat modeleted rc car, the name is an instant classic, and a lot of love was put into it, model, texture wise. A true work of art from the Pue and Passion brothers.
Now for paarameters handling, the game told me it was RWD so I figured, I am gonna have a bad time, but you guys always knew how to make intriguing handling and what not for the cars, so I test it..it handles pretty well everywhere…and the massive ordeal – on ice – you can fix your steering. For a moment, perhaps we found a legendary car once again!
I have checked it and turns out, there’s misinformation in the parameters. The front wheel are powered after all, along with the rear ones. There is a small change of grip and ratio between the rear and front but, this would mean, the car isn’t actually truly RWD, unless I am…somehow…wrong. Other than that, it handles great.
Overall, another car in Advanced that makes the class very varied. Other than the oopsie in the parameters telling this is RWD when it is in reality, 4WD, not a perfect score to keep it balanced. Well done, boys.
