This track is set into a real French grande école. This is where I study computer science and mathematical modeling in real life. This is my first Extreme track made with Blender, it's a personal project I started during December 2020. This is not fully realistic but people that study there should recognize every area. For interested people, official website of the school: https://www.isima.fr/
You can now browse between 30 different styles for one of the textures used in the elevators. They are located into "levels/isivolt1/bonus".
More info and credits in the readme.
For trackmakers: I upload this track with the authorization of the school - it contains a texture that you are not allowed to reuse for your own tracks (it's explained in the readme).

I quite like the idea of using an educational building for a track setting, and whereas buildings often don’t prove for great racing lines, I think this one’s quite good! When you’re following the direction triggers, it’s easy to find out where to go, and the track is fairly varied. It’s certainly not one of the most satisfying tracks to race, but it’s good enough to make it worth playing, in my opinion.
The graphics aren’t anything spectacular, but they aren’t bad either.
What’s quite interesting about this track is that there are actually two racing lines. As quite some tracks do, Isivolt 1 has a Reversed version, but it’s not actually Reversed: instead, only part of the racing line differs. To make matters more complex, there have also been two big updates for this track. The track was originally published in April 2021, and first updated later that month. Another update was released in August of the same year. This final version has the tame version of the track as the regular version, and a more exciting one as the reversed version. Version 1.0 and 1.1, however, have them the other way around, besides some other updates.
The alternative raceline is actually what makes the track unique, as it features lifts taking you up to the highest part of the track. I think this is a really cool idea that was well executed. It has an interesting effect of the race, as the exact time you arrive doesn’t matter so much, as long as you get in at the earliest possible cycle. You never have to wait all too long though, because there are two available lifts. The AI of course do struggle with this, as they can’t see which of the lifts is open.
However, if you want to play the version of the track with the lifts, I would recommend playing the latest version of the track in its reverse mode, as both updates 1.1 and 1.2 made some nice improvements to the track. 1.2 also adds another way for the AI around the lifts. Of course you can take that route as well, but it’s not nearly as fun. ;)

Its amazing! it’s very dynamic, a good track to challenge you, and now with these updates it’s even better, congratulations to the creator
Isivolt 1 has just been updated!
This is a major update, so I really recommend you to download the new version (details in the description). This is supposed to be the final update for this track.
Really good track with decent visuals. The elevators are a unique gimmick, but both it and the stairs break the flow quite a bit.
I updated both files, thanks for reporting! I’ve figured out removing them was a bad idea.
If you have first downloaded the version 1.1 you don’t need to re-download the track.
About Isivolt 2 … I’ve not started working on it, but I want it too!
I love it!! More of this please! :D
I like the new area, although I thought the track was varied enough in its original state too. I do think the straight just before it is a bit too long now. But great track; will there be an Isivolt 2? :)
You forgot to update the bmo and bmq when releasing the update.
Isivolt 1 has now version 1.1!
If you have already downloaded the track, please re-download it.
@Kiwi: thanks for your comment, the raceline should be better now.
Not bad for a first track! :) The visuals are good – they reminded me of Quake! sometimes.
The thing which bugs me most is for sure the raceline. It feels like you build the track without keeping the raceline in mind. I know it’s a real life building – but also tracks like Spa-Volt are combining real life settings and very good racelines. The first few hundred meters are quite OK and I liked it a lot. But beginning with the elevator it definitely get worse. (The elevator “throw me of” at my first try, by the way) The stairs are realistic, but they are not made for racing. Look how tracks like Quake! or Spa-Volt solved the stairs issue. What I really like is the music, which is pretty end of 90’s like, and it’s fitting very well with a Re-Volt track.
I really hope on your next track you plan the layout better. If so, I see a lot of potential in you. Keep it up!
