Hello everyone! after a long time i'm back again, this time with a new better version of my first car.
Say hello to Minotaur (Elite Raging Bull)! A beast with a lot of speed and stability, but at the cost of a medium steering range and a weak acceleration.
It was made using a second heavily modified version of the original Raging Bull, so it's still the original stuff, and as you can see, the inspiration for the shape of this car comes from a PS1 game named NASCAR Rumble.
And as for the original Raging Bull, it depends on you guys if you want to try it out (but i'd rather ignore it).
There's a paintkit inside for those who want to try their artistic skills on this beast.
UPDATE: Thanks a lot for Norf and TT for testing this car and making some great changes to the hull and parameters. now this car can put up a better fight against other super pros.
UPDATE 2: Buff to the max speed and steering.
I own That Game! 5 points for Replica! Thank You, SO MUCH!
Review Part Deux: So that momentum you get zapped is kinda gone, it makes a little sense since the parameters were screwy but, given a second test drive and again, whilst it can still turn well and such – the true main focus for this car is speed, despite the acceleration being not the best. So, how does it do now?
It’s better than ever! In fact, It’s easy to say it is balanced – not the best handling yet stable, reverses 180’s quite well, subpar acceleration with a fine spice of speed, from 45 to a resounding 47 mph! And to get there, you need to be going damn fast in a speedy circuit.
I was already a fan of this car before, but now you cemented this car as a great contender. Nice job. Really, I mean it.
Oh my DAYS! HOLY VOLT(tm)!
This is quite the surprise to me, and thank you for reliving my childhood memory.
The shape looks as nostalgic as i remember, it surely is more polished than the PS1 texture, the color scheme, 3D detailed engine with the pipes too, my fav low resmod & angres, “American Power” on the back sheeeeeesh, completed with the uncontrollable params ahahah – hence the name too, this is amazing, i LOVE it!
My only pet peeve is the car’s ride height, thin tires (despite it has thick tires, it’s not wide “meaty” enuf on the rear), and the rear wheel arches too close to the tail. Try getting references from Rumble Racing’s Serpent and Dragon elite nascar.
Maybe also that’s why PS1 version looks more “extreme design” and i remember Rumble Racing so much, both game uses same nascar mesh.
Time for the proper review. I had to try a lot of of tracks or some of them for me to properly understand this car. The main strength of this car is speed and momentum. It can reach an oustanding speed of 47 MPH and upon zaps, it can keep momentum for a bit before slowing down so, it has that going for. But it goes for a cost of maneuverability, it has a wide turning range, and in technical tracks, it suffers, heavily. OR DOES IT?!
That’s right, this car has something going for it. Like a bull or rather, a minotaur, it can still pack a fight – if you use the brakes well, you can pull the car into tight turns. And because of it’s sheer speed, you can still be in the fight. Master it, and it’s definitely a weapon to be reckoned with.
I’ll properly review the Raging Bull soon, but for the elite counter part – I am in love with it.
It’ll still remember the original Raging Bull, don’t worry. Because of this amazing car I shall test and review soon, I’ll do the OG Raging Bull a solid. But skins will be coming for this too – I got that covered.
