So, to complete the normal cars for Vigilante 8, here's the 1967 Rattler, driven by a female agent with the Vigilantes before departing to become a drifter in the sequel, in other words, 2nd Offense, Chassey Blue. This car, based on the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, is one hell of a looker. It's fast and has good handling, but poor armor, but not as bad as Strider, having the weakest armour but with a good special. The special weapon for Rattler is called Gridlock, which is damaging, but it also can stall the opponent's engine. Think of it as a freeze attack from the Twisted Metal series. If you get hit by Rattler's special, mash the accelerator button as quickly as you can to escape from it's grasp because engine stall of Rattler's special allows it to get free hits. If you want some fast kills by doing whammy's (combos) because of the Gridlock, you got yourself a good car in your hands.
This one is on the pro class because c'mon, it's fast and the handling is quite good. Still, be cautious when using it. Enjoy the car!

Actually, Chassey did like Sid Burn, but due to him being I assume the leader of the Coyotes, she dislikes him for that.
The Rattler and the Manta are great cars, but the Rattler has the advantage because of the Gridlock.

I always thought she was somehow related to Sid Burn because back then I didn’t know anything about cars, and her car and Sid’s had a similar body shape. I was a dumb kid.
