Another Rage Racer car appears! It's the beloved and iconic car of the Ridge Racer series, meet the Assoluto Fatalita. This one however, is the CPU version of it, in other words, this version is unplayable, appearing as an opponent in Class 3 in Rage Racer and it always appears at the start/finish line (except for Extreme Oval where the Age Abeille takes it's place). The Assoluto Fatalita has come a long way, appearing in a handful of Ridge Racer games (except Ridge Racer V since Assoluto doesn't appear in that game). What makes the Fatalita unique is that it is equipped with a Rotary 2 rotor 652x2 cc Turbo engine giving out an output of 255 BHP, and the playable version can be purchased for 20.000 CP. It is somewhat based on the Porsche 959, a technological marvel at the end of the 1980's. With a rotary engine that it's used Mazda sports cars such as the RX-7 and the RX-8 for example, it makes the Fatalita stand out by having an exquisite balance. It's a sports car in it's own right. The car makes it's last appearance as a playable car in Ridge Racer 7 but with a different design. It may seem slippy when you use it, but once you overcome it, it brings the balance, uniqueness and the smoothness that this car offers. Use it well. Enjoy!
Credits:
Bandai Namco for the model and sound.
Potato Face for paramizing the car.
LivingWithGames for fixing the car's wheel wells, geometry and other bits of the car. Thank you once again.
Scurest for the 3D Screenshot implementation for Duckstation.
So this car is basically like that custom ai K.S. Corvette from NFS Heat with a different livery than the one you have in the Deluxe Version.
