  1. Blackfang’s premise is to conquer the Re-Volt’s scene and it is the main reason why I tried it. First of all, the model, which is based on an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, is well made. Compared to said base car, it is a faithful recreation, expect for the long wheelbase, the inconsistent bumpers and the lack of mirrors. The texture, similarly to the model, is also quite faithful and it is alright. The choice of colours recalls Germany’s flag colours, which I like, and I love the wolf on the sides and the other set of decals, but the headlights aren’t the right ones, the fuel cap on the car’s right side is missing, the stripes aren’t well placed and the texture itself is a bit empty. There is also a grey, light grey and red additional skin available, thought it isn’t very inviting for me. Performance-wise, the Blackfang is very good in its class. It is fast, agile and pretty resilient. However, the acceleration isn’t the best and the handling isn’t straight-forward. It requires a good knowledge on the car’s grip and its driving style consists on the play between the gas and the brakes, since the car can suddenly oversteers on lower speeds and on any surfaces. Once mastered this technique, the car is enjoyable and satisfying to toss around the tracks of any kind.

Overall, the Blackfang is a great car. Some more care could have been put on the model, the texture and the polish, but the parameters makes up of it. Good job.
