I made this car using an AI generated pic as the concept, It's a muscle car with high ground clearance and boat like suspension.
-Update 1.1-
- Top speed is now 36mph, rear wheels now match front wheels' grip. (really minor nerf, don't worry)
- Added a paintkit folder with the layers, deleted the xcf.
I like this car, although it is simple in design, but, made with a soul, I agree with EstebanMz, it directly crosses the line in terms of speed, I’m easily overtaking Aden and the zipper.
YOOOOOOOOO DIS IZ ULTIM8 POGGERS, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
LOOKS AWESOME AS ALWAYS!
Even with the nerf, I have to admit. It’s still too strong. That being said, against two certain AI cars, it does prove it is a strong car – but not OP by a complete devastating amount., I would suggest decreasing the acceleration just a tiny amount, and decrease the top speed to 35/35.5 MPH. That being said, how does the car handle?
It does have a powerslide tendency despite 4WD, it fits with it’s Bully/Muscle nature of it, I dig it. The suspension being soft tends to act as a balance to advantage and disadvantage with some tracks. But forget using the battery with it. It has plenty of body roll, and with battery, it turns that dial up to tenfold. You will flip while using the battery a lot so, use it as a zap/star shield. Or use it in the straights, the long ones to make use of that top speed.
Overall, I’m a fan of the car. And of the other two cars that can beat it by AI – the Suntrast and the Twyster. The former being to be reviewed soon..REAL SOON.
After the update it’s still OP. 36 mph/59 kph is high for Semi-Pro, let alone Advanced. If it was coupled with incredibly weak acceleration rate and and a stiff ride to balance high top speed, it’d be fine. But as it stands, beyond the playful name, on track it’s a literal bully – and not in a good sense. It’s a shame, because it’s an otherwise well-done car with a distinctive diecast quality to it.
I agree with EstebanMz’s statement. The handling is as pleasing as it can get, and the best color choices ever to match the experience. The big standout here is the astoundingly high top speed of ~40 MPH! With such speed, no wonder it bullies any other advanced car in its vicinity. Regardless, it’s a very fun car to drive around, and I simply wouldn’t want it any other way.
simple design but very well polished, the color selection for the skins are all on point, chef’s kiss. but I have a big corcern, it’s top speed is too high, it perfectly fits at pro class and I’ve made some tests, no joke.
