This car is part of the Abandoned Designs Project.

On the 09/10/2018, a small group of users decided to set up a dedicated Discord channel to recreate some original designs from the game, using concept sketches, development files, and other original resources as a base.

As the project slowly grew, more people decided to hop by and lend a hand with their creativity and insights, leading to more than 70 new cars being created!

The included cars are the product of the hard work, commitment and passion that handful of creators put into this project, culminating on the release of one of the biggest "expansion packs" seen to date.

You can get the full pack from here:

  1. El Rapido is, indeed, a fast car. But sometimes that’s not what always matter. Let’s get to that.

As far the bodywork goes, the paintjob and the size, it’s pretty fun actually, and features as somewhat flexible/bouncy suspension to the likes of Bertha Ballistics and Phat Slug, while not being a complete hinderance. That’s already a plus. It is one of the faster FWD cars so it got that going for it.

But because it’s FWD, it has trouble going up hills and because of it’s wide look and somewhat tall and bouncy suspension, you can also roll/flip it easily if you don’t know what you are doing. That being said, it balances the car.

I also like that it has that dirty look about it – sure it’s fast but it can get scuffed up easily. Still, a good rookie classed car.
