  1. WOW. These 2 new tracks are beautiful.
The way the rides move in the background.
The tracks are great to ride.
It really doesn’t get any better than this.
    Many thanks for this work.
May I ask how much time it takes to develop a track like this?
    Greetings Michael

  2. Amazing racing line, I am generally a big fan of mixed surfaces, including changing surface type mid-corner.
Corners flow one from another and there is no unusual, counter-intuitive blindspots to remember.
Pickups are placed in good places – most of them slightly off-line, but not too much so it’s a balanced trade-off.
Visually the track is very clear, the textures make it easy to follow the track and it flows from corner to corner very nicely. I just always mistake the starry texture as a carpet, and I expect it to be slidy, not grippy.
I am a huge fan of the long left corner, which starts quick and it becomes tight at the very end, making it necessary to slow down mid-corner to nail it correctly, and it gives a nice feeling of speed and control.
A minus of the track is the train, AI crashes quite often in singleplayer races there.
I also like the kids’ playground area, it’s very slidy so it’s necessary to set up and prepare for the next corner in advance, but crashing there isn’t a tragedy and you can easily continue driving forward.
I only don’t like the one left corner, where it’s fastest to bounce off the wall mid-turn-flight and land, that can be a bit random at times.
Other than that, I see no negatives.

    Reverse version is also great.

  3. @ D4V1D3 “I think we already have a winner for “Track of the year”.”
And we’re going to have to find a solution for the top list, because there won’t be any room left for titles other than those by G_J ☕, I_Spy (-:

  4. Update on my previous statement: I have come around to enjoying the additional layer of complexity the different floor surfaces add more after giving this track more time, EXCEPT for the playground/ballpit area surface. That area is still nigh unplayable with any level of consistency, it’s just so extreme. One more thought I’ve had since then is that I sort of wish the Whac-A-Mole area had actual holes you could fall into, I feel like it would really spice up that section, but that’s just an idea that’s fun to think about.

  5. Naturally, words can’t adequately describe how visually stunning this track is, it’s simply a sensory overload in the best way. The race line it’s set up here is also, coincidentally, phenomenal, with plenty of skill checks and creative ways of using various objects as obstacles. With that out of the way, I will rain on everybody’s parade here by voicing my opinion on the track surfaces used: after a couple hours of time trialing, I can’t help but feel like by making cars more unwieldy and further away from what you’d normally be accustomed to with the more traditional surface types, it actively works against the track’s complexity and inherently fun race line. I WANT to be able to challenge these incredibly crafted turns on my own terms, to be able to squeeze out every single millisecond out them, but I’m swiftly shut down by the car straight up refusing to even turn at all in certain areas, the ball pit section surface comes to mind here. I’m aware this is all intentional, however it actively works to make the track more frustrating to drive rather than enhancing the experience, for example if the wacky surfaces were sprinkled around the map in certain chosen areas (such as Supermarket 2’s ice section), instead of the entire track being devoid of more responsive surfaces. I’m not sure if my feelings will change on this based on driving the track for hours on end, but for now it pains me that I can’t give this a perfect rating.

TL;DR: Personally, I find it a shame that I have to wrestle against the surfaces, rather than wrestling against the race line, this track would be the best track ever made for Re-Volt as far as I’m concerned if it weren’t for this.

  6. oh i know this place, their arcade games look nice (I hope they bring a RC racing game that came out last month.),thank god they changed old smelly animatronics, they were terrifying… and the pizza (the most important part) tastes like cardboard. come on i paid 14$ for that one :(

  7. With each new track, you raise the bar a little higher.
But not here. Here, it’s a huge leap! What animation! Incredible!
