An actual galloping pony for all horse lovers. Contains 3 ponies.

    • Galloping Mini-Pony (medium large, to go with usual tracks. Max rideable size before RVGL cuts the model from attached cam view).
    • Galloping Pony (largest, to go life-size on usual tracks, needs follow cam).
    • Galloping RL Pony (small, to go with real world race tracks).

    Updated with custom sounds.

Credits: Acclaim, Virtual1Em for his (rocking) Horse, Citywalker for her experiments, me, and the lot of you for keeping the game alive. Thanks.

    Ato

Updated again with more audible hoof sounds. The quiet ones are still included.

And updated to eliminate a slight gap in the sounds.

And if anyone wonders - the RC/RL versioning actually makes a lot of sense. Tracks like Wildland, Cliff Mountain, Cliffside Court, Frigid Peaks, Extreme G, RC Dream, SS Route Revolt, etc are definitely not RC tracks. See this track list for suggestions.

  1. The Galloping Pony pack was released by Ato in 2021. It was updated a few times to improve the sounds. The horn sound is still quite quiet.
This is a really cool idea, and it works well. The horse is not very competitive in its class, unfortunately, which makes it less fun to play. It mostly works well, though. The horse comes in three sizes, which is fun. The biggest one doesn’t work on lots of tracks, though, because it can’t get past parts with a low ceiling.
Quite a fun vehicle to use and have in your collection, though, and it’s quite unique! I have no idea how it works, I’ve got to say.

  2. A pretty impressive experiment. This works better than I expected. Especially for Multiplayer races this could be a lot of fun! It’s cool to see what is possible with RVGL.
