REQUIRES RVGL 19.x OR LATER TO PLAY THIS PROPERLY

Keitune, Kei Tune, Kei-Tune, whatever it's spelled this week, is a known little RC circuit track founded in 1996 at some rural section in Japan. The track had a layout change in 2016, which is the version you'll be playing, but there's not so many reference materials out there, and I decided to get a bit creative in the landscape with a forest theme instead. Also, it has a few easter eggs scattered all over the place for kicks.

  1. This is a very good circuit-like track. Some faster corners, some slower corners, wallbanging is not prohibited but is generally not faster due to the good track layout, the kerb is possible to use but quite steep so it’s more of a deterrent and there is a one slightly inclined turn with very smooth modeling. Reminds me of Strava tracks, a great one!

  2. This being a recreation or IRL track, the only thing I can say about the layout is that it’s there and it’s good. Tarmac is very smooth and offers a lot of grip, so you don’t have to worry about making even the tightest turns. Every asset looks polished and fits into RV esthetics very well, including a kei-car standing near the grandstands. Only thing that might be less than completely enjoyable is stick-like grass on the outside, but its colour and placement still makes it nice enough to look at. Custom music also fits the track and its general vibe.

The track does have some powerups scattered around and a star, but I’d recommend turning them off, since they can mess up an otherwise pleasant race. Very good and well-done track, ideal for pureblood racing competitions.
