This is in the first of the trilogy I plan to make for the Mexico series
Over the horizon in the jungle, the cars that traverse across the damp soil nd into a party that is going on!
Massive thanks to Powerate for Triggers (Camera Shortens, Track Dir, Split Times), Track Zones and Pickups placements.
Music: Basic - I'm Wearing My Dancing Pants
More credits are in the readme, the track was inspired by Forza Horizon 5.
Screenshots by Shinji05 and Cyclone
RVGL is required
This track is part of the 2022 Birthday Contest held by Kiwi for Re-Volt World. The experience will be different as this standalone version has fixes.
@607: Even though you can get away with it since it just uses royalty free sounds anyway
I think that’s the first time I heard a Rayman track in a Re-Volt track!
Speaking of… i bet you could the FH5 Mexico as a Stunt park! 75+ Stars Could be Ok
@Kipy: Good thing you brought up the class, the force field I put in those hills were designed for all classes including the Rookie Phat Slug.
Regarding the track it is full with clever solutions (camera going in the right angle at the long uphills, the river as a speedup section), raceline is okay to me, it was made for the pro and superpro classes clearly.
Visuals are good, still the track seems empty on some sections (I might be alone with this in case of several tracks by others as well).
AI is simply bad here. Not the nodes, the AI itself. Taking corners wide, taking the longer routes continuously despite there are multiple alternate lines. Some direction arrows show up late for faster cars. Pickups’ amount and placing are satisfying.
Looking forward for the upcoming Mexico tracks.
