These are tracks designed specifically for multiplayer. This is a reduxes of already existing tracks, with many traps and complications. But there is one thing, you will not be able to be reposition on these tracks! You can't play on these tracks with AI, due to the lack of AI Nodes.
I was inspired by Gorgonzola's DTH tracks and made this pack. At the time of the release, a session had already been held on these tracks.
So far, there are 12 tracks in this pack, but perhaps in the future I will supplement it with new ideas.
So, what tracks are there (Credits):
Thanks to the authors for these tracks. Also thanks to Erzu, Kotik_XP and Zloy_Yarik for testing and feedback, and to Erzu for the session on these tracks.
My psyche was shattered. Thank you(!)
Most of them should be called “Escape room”, not simply “No-Repo”
I’ve always enjoyed No Repo, specially Gorgon’s DTH tracks which are part of a cup that’s played on RVA, and these tracks do capture a good amount of the spirit of it, but they feel more akin to a “Gauntlet” type of track. Let me explain:
Gorgon’s DTH variants are vastly modified with the usual no repositioning mechanic, but also a ton of traps which you have to memorize, something your tracks (not the usual No Repo ones in which the only way of staying out is by falling off) don’t lack, but the key difference is that the traps don’t exactly remove original tiles (or sections, because some part of the terrain are just lowered to where you can’t escape) such as your Supermarket 2 and Botanical Garden, or make use of RVGL’s mapping tools such as custom animations such as FroggerVolt, thus making them more like parkour maps or “Deathrun” styled if you’ve played Source engine games. But that’s maybe too petty.
The tracks are of exceptional quality and specially tedious, which is good in this case, and they still have Gorgon’s level design “theory” on them. 8.7/10 would recommend except for FroggerVolt.
