Something I worked on a few months ago, based on a car simply called 'gt4'. I don't know who originally made it or where it came from.
I gave it a complete overhaul with the following:
Fixed up the texture a little bit.
New wheels.
No ENV on the underside/wheel wells.
Carbox.
Custom shadow.
Completely new set of parameters.
Hardly has a new identity per se so a new fitting name.
An overwhelmingly unparalled competitor for Semi-Pro, as long as you can handle the oversteer.
Damn, good eye, Durt. This makes this very car even more interesting with a fun fact like that.
