Yup, that turning physics is the most interesting about this thing. Sure more or less Toyeca-based like everything from 00s but it can be called source-accurate. And that’s what majority people mostly outside Re-Volt around the net actually went for back then, ain’t that true?
The model is very simple, but effective. It’s Pac-Man! The parameters are where it gets really interesting, though. One of the characteristic features of Pac-Man’s control are the 90 degree corners that are taken at high speeds. This feel was replicated in Re-Volt by making the car take extremely sharp turns at no effort. This does make you lose all your speed, but that doesn’t matter, because like Pac-Man, this car also has insane acceleration. Another feature of the car that might be a result of these previous two is that it can drive on steep slopes almost as if you were driving on a level road. Quite an interesting ride!
Check it out if you like quirky cars.
