[UPDATE v2.0] Fixed shading, added paintkit, new carboxes and directory name (delete the old version).
This is my first original car, completely created from scratch! It is inspired by modern NASCAR cars, more precisely the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. I decided midway through the work to turn it into Pemto's descendant: a "lost" Re-Volt car visible on the website of Joe Groombridge, one of the creators of the original vehicles in the game, which was later found by Kiwi and r6te. The car is available in 2 liveries: one inspired by the original Pemto and one by Mc RC, the sponsor car of McDonald's!
The model and skins were created by me, while MarraX99 helped me with mapping and UV.

And there it is, the Official paintkit for it…and having tested the car, it’s that time again.
Unlike the OG Pemto, this car handles completely different. It’s more stable, more competent, and obvious, a modern, improved take on the old boy. Having tested with battery, the car handles BEAUTIFULLY with it. EVEN for a RWD car, which is wild because Battery powerup, has a tendency of killing RWD cars. Not in this case.
And now that the paintkit properly exists, this might be a car that will get a buckload of skins to boot, in the future. I’m no time-traveller or someone that can see the future, but this might be one of the few cars that will have a lot of skin, due to the sheer simplicity of the body frame, like how it is for the original Pemto.
And let’s not forget, despite Version 2, this being your first original car made, tells the whole story. You’re no amateur modeller. This simply started your legacy.
Awe HELL YEAH!!! The Perfect NASCAR!!!!
Hell yeah! NVT_06, you are a legend, my dude.
@LivingWithGames don’t worry, the paintkit is coming soon, it will be included in the next update (I’m also fixing shading for the body, as @burner94 suggested). I’ill add the paintkit also because I intend to create a sort of “New Pemto Pack Project”, so stay tuned! ;)
Though speaking of the mapping, I am not doing super well making my own paint kit since there isn’t one unfortunately but while I do it my own, when can we get an official paint kit for the Pemto MK-II? I sense a lot of skins for this car in the near future…
THIS is your first original?! Sheesh, hell of a start, actually! And extremely fun and simple mapping, too to boot!
Took the liberty to edit out the “mph” from the Speed line, you don’t need to fill in units of measurement on this site (:
Congrats on your first published original! If we were to be extra picky I’d say some extra lighting/shading (aside from the model’s vertex shading) might make it pop even more, but this is pretty solid. Will drive it soon…
