Megapol from POD: Planet of Death.
Current version of RVGL (19.1230a) or newer required!
Here's a track I love. It was a tricky track to learn in the original game, thankfully Re-Volt has direction arrows.
Do look out for shortcuts 'cause there's plenty, and don't forget to check out the reversed version! I may have had some creative liberties while working on that one... (visual-wise).
This track was difficult to work on, but the effort paid off I think. I had to recreate several movable objects which (for me at least) are impossible to convert.
Also had a lot of bugs to deal with, if you happen to find more do let me know!
-This track includes-
Reverse Mode (with differences)
Practice Star
Custom Skybox with animated sky
Custom sounds and effects from POD
Challenge Time
Custom objects
Custom powerups
Custom animations (moving machine, spaceship, rotating ad)
Converted using Ninja Ripper, bl4viewer and Blender.
This track is part of my POD conversion project called POD: Re-Volted.
It’s an absolute maze of a track. But once you’ve completed a lap or two, the direction arrows start making sense and then it’s a fun maze.
Kudos!

“It was a tricky track to learn in the original game, thankfully Re-Volt has direction arrows.” Unfortunately, in my experience the direction triggers are way too late, so you only know where to go once you’ve already missed the turn. Also, when you reposition it is often completely unclear where you should go, as you can be repositioned in the wrong direction, and (maybe because of the shortcuts) the arrow at the bottom doesn’t always work well.
The track itself is pretty cool, but it would be a lot more fun if the turns were indicated early enough!
The most difficult map you have, you have to be ready for a lot of turns. But it’s very cool, beautiful and fun, pictures of all sorts of monsters and demons dilute the atmosphere
