RVGL needed because of additional graphic tiles.
Update: roofb2.zip without mp3 until I find another.
This is a very good hood-like track. The ondulating asphalt is exactly what such tracks need; flat floor is boring and too easy, but combined with a relatively simple racing line and only a couple of turns, little dips on track give the track much more “depth” and fun, much more is happening despite the track being pretty easy to drive. Graffitis look very nice
“Oh damn, I put the wrong mp3 into the upload ! Now it’s changed to the rooftops redbook.” – motorhand
Ayyyy that’s fine by me. I do forget one or two things when uploading stuff.
I agree with what was said previously and above all, especially about the music. I emphasize this because it is a major flaw on your tracks. And the rest are just minor flaws.
Aside from this, and the stars, everything about this track is amazing. I love the racing line. all your racing line are good. Save this for your next tracks…
Oh damn, I put the wrong mp3 into the upload ! Now it’s changed to the rooftops redbook.
Normally I switch off the sound while building and testing and now I can’t find the music which I chosed weeks ago..
I didn’t rate the position of the stars so highly and will think about it again.
Thanks to all for suggestions !
I don’t get why this is a favourite for some. This track may have the spectacle but it feels a little boring. Yes the vent is actually good and it has some decent corners but it feels flat and barely any wacky shortcuts to make it up. To top it all off you have a commercially copyrighted song from Parov Stelar which will ring alarm bells for YouTube’s automated system for ads and the stars are extremely easy to collect.
Here are some suggestions: the aforementioned ramp shortcuts could’ve been used one star that could be made to be plain hard to get. And there was a missed opportunity for the actual sewer holes where you could’ve placed the stars there out of sight. Also there are some groove songs to be found on some websites like freemusiarchive.org or Newgrounds (search anything in the homepage, not audio’s webpage, then click audio in search, type the tag e.g. “groovy”, press the gear symbol next to “Sort By:” and click “Commercial Use Permitted” and you’ll get all CC music out the gate) for groovy music that have creative commons license proper.
My only gripe with the track is the amount of stars (global pulses) when played with Pickups ON and how easy they are to get, other than that, a genius concept.
As Nickurn said, this is one of my favorite tracks this year. As a fan of stocklike tracks, I like the visual style – combining Rooftops and Toys in the Hood. I also noticed that this track is highly detailed. RC Bandits with remote control, next to which there are batteries. Stickers, bottles and cans with NY 54 texture. Trash cans in the form of R2D2, near which flies fly. The electric current coming from the electric shield. As well as a lifebuoy and a Toytanic door floating in the sea. wow
The only thing I would say is that the stars are in too easily accessible places.
So, a very good idea, Motorhand! Keep it up! :p

Certified banger of a track! Great idea followed by neat execution. Waiting for your next track Motorhand, this one is definitely in my top 3 for this year!
Nice Idea. I like this stocklike night city
