StadVolt is my first successful attempt at 3D modelling and UV mapping.
The racing line is rather easy to navigate through, except for some hazards along the way.
Basic geometry, low resolution textures and hand-made shading allows this track to keep in touch with original 1999 tracks.

Thanks to javildesign for his valuable help throughout the development of the track and his constructive feedback.
Thank you also to the Re-Volt community as a whole, full of passionate and talented people.

    Have fun!

  1. THIS TRACK HAS DRIVING CARS AS BACKGROUND DETAILS

This track is visually stunning. It pulls of tricks that have never been seen before, most notably the full-size cars moving around the map. The drone holding up the start flag and the mechanical advert changers are also very impressive. The track has a unique atmosphere that was well set. The sound effects help to make the track feel alive.
The track flow is actually really fun too. There is one issue: it’s not too intuitive. Especially on the split path sections and the section where you go between the parking spot and the store, you will likely be confused on your first playthrough. However, a few races should be enough to learn the flow, and it is definitely worth doing so, as this is a fun track to drive, and a challenging one too, as the AI knows what it’s doing (figuratively speaking). There are plenty of pick-ups to use and get attacked with, and the star is really fun and satisfying to get.
Another delectable detail: the broken car that has oil leaking out, which is actually functional. What a treat!
The January update was perfect. Sometimes when new creators perform an update on a track changes are made that I don’t like so much, but I am not in any doubt about any part of this update. The atmosphere and gameplay were greatly improved, and it’s really not worth the effort to seek out the old version.
I really hope that L17 will create more tracks for Re-Volt!!
