    As a 25th Anniversary gift and in commemoration of the Season 0 of the Teamrace League, I decided to release the set of skins used by each team that signed up.

    • s0-team-skins contains all 13 teams' skins that were featured in the tourney;
    • tl-generic-skins has a nameless set of skins* (see preview images).

    I also included a zip file with each car's paintkit for whoever wishes to paint in their own team colours with the custom decals, too.

    ...But how does one play team-racing? Quoting the rules explained in the Re-Volt Racing Discord server:

    Joining and gather: Teams are decided by the hosting player after all joining players have gathered in a lobby. It can then be further discussed by the players if the teams are evenly matched and balanced before starting the game. Typical team formats for the best experience are: 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5. However, other formats such as 2 vs 2 or uneven numbers (e.g 3 vs 4 ) are also possible.

    The races are played on all the stock tracks with pickups: ON, 3 laps, beginning from Toys in the Hood 1 and played until Toytanic 2. The only allowed cars are Toyeca, Humma and Cougar. You may not change cars during the session.

    You cannot join in middle of the session if it has already started. If joining, please be aware that you need to be able to play the entire session which averages around 40 mins.

    Each team will have their own team name and skin color used during the race, Black and White. The Host's team will always be the team playing with the black color, to avoid confusion.

    The objective: The aim is to score as many points as possible to win over the enemy team. To score points, players from the same team needs to finish at least 1st and 2nd for 1 point. For example:

    • If a team finishes 1st & 2nd on podium they will gain 1 point.
    • If they finish 1st, 2nd & 3rd place they will gain 2 points.
    • If they finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place they will gain 3 points and so on.
    • If the team cannot secure at least two players on top or finish with only one player being 1st or 2nd, no points will be earned.

    IMPORTANT: Players from each team are allowed to cross-up, turn around or drive backwards at any time to prevent the enemy team from scoring points!

    The winner is decided when the losing team can no longer outscore the winning team until Toytanic 2. If the teams are tied by points in the last track, the race continues and the team with the player who finished 1st on Toytanic 2 decides which track shall be played next. This is repeated until either team breaks the tie.

    Special situations and additional info: If a player disconnects from either team, the race is restarted if the disconnection occured in the 1st lap. If it happens in the 2nd or 3rd lap, it will be open for discussion between both teams and hosts decision applies.

    *DISCLAIMER: Generic skins are NOT compatible with RVR Teams sessions - download their own set instead.
