Terra Lumis

Terra Lumis is a 1:8 scale sandrail buggy from the Terrapower company!

There some rumors, that is a replica of Glamis Uno from Vaterra company, it appears on TV in documentaries about parallel universe. It’s a scaled down, but is still slightly larger than most cars, width sizing comparable with regular monster truck (e.g. mouse) or similar. Rated as PRO for stock variant (default gearbox and 2s lipo). Car can go as fast as 70 kph and have 3 kilos of weight (it have aluminum frame). Also engine sound are real recorded from the original model.

Parameters (initial file template from TT Raider) developed to correspond original model, but tires have more grip for more stability, to content with other cars and save control on rough/low-poly terrain and jumps, while still have some RWD features, like drifting and tight cornering when do turn with braking. Springs are soft, but slight harder, than original – for clean pass some big jumps without issues. Turning rate are slower, than most cars for more precision controls at top speeds. And it likes sometimes to flip over, same as original – beware every start race mayhem ;)

Original model can do 180 turn when hard braking while turning and rip rear tires from start easily, for example. You can lower grip on rear tires to achieve same result, but it will be hard to control after jumps or on slippery surface (also will be needed modify AI to handle this). Inside car parameters there will be comments for grip settings to achieve this result.
