Thanx to Re-Volt for keeping me buisy.
Hi to all my mates in Chat.
So, the track is not bad enough, taking place in some city, and in some night area, I just love the night, and something like tracks come to me, basically there are only two locations on this track, this is just a city, well, a tunnel as I understand it.
The colors are mostly dark, not bright, the track itself is simple along the turns, just such a track is suitable for a beginner! Just in fast cars you can drive along this highway!
What can I say that the track looks pretty dark, but it is unique, I just love this type of trails! It’s not difficult enough, the turns are not difficult, and you can enjoy driving fast cars!
I used to think that Toon Street was some intellectual property that this track was based on, but it seems to be just some generic description, instead. The readme is very uninformative, so I don’t know what inspired Skitch to make this track. For a toon street, it is certainly very dark. But that’s because it’s set at night-time, clearly. I do think the theme would make more sense with bright colours, though. The houses are fun, but because of the dull colours the track has a pretty bland appearance, in my opinion.
The racing line is very straight-forward, and, as Skitch2 does point out in the readme, mostly suited for fast cars. This is a style of track that would really benefit from being able to make shortcuts over the pavement, like those seen in Toys in the Hood 1 or Rosedale (episode 56b). Fortunately, there are two in this track! They’re fun. However, I think there should be more. I thought there was a way to get onto the pavement at the telephone box, for example, but it turned out there wasn’t. I think this would’ve been a lot of fun. I’m not sure why it’s impossible to get unto most pavement sections, as it looks like it would be fun to drive on them, and Skitch2 did not just miss the entire possibility of doing so, as there are two parts where you can do it.
Overall, I think this is one of Skitch2’s least memorable tracks. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t stand out, either by unique theme, impressive graphics, or satisfying racing lines.
