This car is a part of my ROTOR MASTERPACK.
This one is a collaboration with PaintHeart, he made the great looking 3D mesh.
This car was based off Vortex, a car from our favorite arcade racing game, Rumble Racing (PS2). The good thing is that the car isn't very similar to the original car. For this one, i decided to make it as Super-Pro rotor, because of its futuristic, concept-ish look with that turbine power.
Tested this as AWD flying rotor, but it was very unstable, let alone as a rotor, B94 also said A.I. will go coo coo in the air/when flying. So i decided to make it just as a nimble, grippy, 48mph top speed rotor yet sensitive when landing a big air. 3 Liveries are made so far, i was lacking on ideas.
I'm Ziggy, part of Globetrotters Garage, and Paintheart, hope that you peeps like my take on actual Rotor competitor in Super-Pro class and will be waiting for more of this.
For starters, the model of this car, the Vulkan is exceptional, one of the most detailed cars I have seen modeled for Re-Volt/RVGL, period. Hell, even the texture work is exceptional with a few bonus skins added on top. Controls though, it’s a matter of taste really and personally, they are good, but I have trouble with it.
What kind of trouble? Well, depending of the tracks, you can flip sideways with ease and very probably to be manipulated and bullied by other cars, possibly lower and smaller cars than it. Still, it is an easy recommendation from me, jsut because it is just simply ‘unique’. Unique in the sense, there’s not many cars that replicate the Rotor feeling and this one is more inspired by the likes of Rollcage and GRIP.
